Not sure if he's not used to black people in Bayside, because there are just two or three out here (it seems). I got a racist vibe from him. But I would've purchased at least 3 plants had he not been so short and dismissive toward me. I even said "thank you" and he turned his back and walked away. *sigh*

I called them to inquire about an order of Hawaiian Lei for my son's upcoming graduation. The owner was extremely rude on the phone. He asked what flower for the lei and I said Orchid. He seemed annoyed and said that'll be at least $150. I told him that I ordered that before at Great Neck Florist and it was no where near that price. He then told me "well then you can go ahead and buy it from them" and hung up the phone. I just placed an order with Great Neck Florist and paid $45 for the lei. The only reason I was shopping elsewhere was because it's closer to my son's school but I guess they just don't want my business.
Greg has been outstanding with every floral arrangement I've ordered from him over the past several years. I've always gotten fantastic customer service from him, and can't speak highly enough of him.
Pricey but worth it. Very kind, and their roses/pants last for a long time. A dozen roses always last me for at least 2 weeks if well taken care of. What I like best, they pick them fresh. Not prewrapped like other places.
