Sept. 30, 2017 - Last week I made an appointment with Simon & Gilman, LLP in Queens.
I needed to have a consult on a legal issue. I found them on the internet, and their location was close to where I work. I arrived for my appointment waited about 10 minutes and then I was called in. I spoke with Mr. Gilman, who greeted me, asked some basic information about myself and then he asked me to explain my situation, which I did. He took his time with me, sharing a relevant story and his own and then advised me on what my options were. Mr. Gilman comes across as a caring person and that was good because Just having to visit someone about a legal issue can be unhinging, he made me feel at ease and I left his office knowing what my next step would be. Add to all this that it was a free consultation, the fact that it was free was important to me as I am on a fixed income. However during my consultation I was not made to feel that my issue was in any way unimportant simply because there would be no charge. I would recommend Mr. Gilman and the firm, to anyone. I will also keep his card in case I ever need legal help again.
Simon & Gilman were such a great help to me in my personal injury case, they are excellent attorneys. I highly recomend them.
